The PD 3.1-DC (5.5 x 2.5 mm jack) cable with voltage selector deserves special attention. It features a built-in display for voltage, current, and power, voltage selection buttons for 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 20V, and 28V, and a braided nylon sleeve. The cable is 1.5 m long and has been tested successfully at a full 140W load.

USB-C to DC PD trigger (decoy) board (Amazon) (AliExpress) - This small board lets you select the requested DC output voltage using switches: 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V. If the USB-C source cannot provide the selected voltage, the board may receive the closest lower supported voltage. For example, if the charger does not support PD 12V, it may provide 9V even when the board requests 12V.
- PDC002 programmable cable (PD/PPS decoy). The cable can be programmed for various voltages using a programming adapter up to 20V (PD) and 21V (PPS). Reports suggest that the cable may also trigger PD 3.1 28V and AVS, but I have not yet confirmed this in testing. I will update this section when testing is complete.

PD 3.0/3.1 trigger (decoy) boards Two versions of this compact module are available. One supports 5V, 20V, 28V, 36V, and 48V; the standard version supports 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, and 20V. The voltage is selected by bridging one of four contact pairs with solder. This is useful when you need a DC output of 28V or higher. The module does not boost voltage - it only negotiates the selected voltage with a USB-PD charger capable of providing it.
USB-C (PD)-DC laptop adapters
The adapters below power laptops through their DC input. If your laptop requires no more than 100W, you can replace the original power supply with a USB-C charger that supports PD 3.0 or newer and provides the required wattage, together with a 5A-rated USB-C cable (100W) or 240W cable, and one of the adapters below. I have successfully used the ASUS 4.0 x 1.35 mm and Lenovo Slim Tip versions.
