ASUS BoostMaster & ROG HyperCharge

 

ASUS uses two fast-charging technologies under its own names: BoostMaster and ROG HyperCharge.

ASUS BoostMaster:

  • ASUS BoostMaster 18W: (5V2A, 9V2A) USB-A - USB-C cable

  • ASUS ZenFone 2 BoostMaster 18W: (5V2A, 15V1.2A) USB-A - USB-C cable

ASUS ROG HyperCharge:

HyperCharge uses PD 3.0 and PPS. The adapter also uses direct-charge technology, where part of the charging circuitry is placed in the adapter rather than in the phone.

  • The ROG HyperCharge 65W charger supports fixed profiles of 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V3A, and 20V3.25A, as well as adjustable ranges of 3.3-11V5A and 3.3-21V3.25A.
