Motorola Rapid Charging and TurboPower

 

Motorola offers two charging technologies: Rapid Charging and TurboPower.

Charging protocols:

  • Rapid Charging - 10W (5V2A), using USB-A - microUSB or USB-A - USB-C cables.

  • TurboPower 18W (compatible with QC3.0) (5V3A, 9V2A, 12V1.5A) is available in two versions: with a USB-C - USB- cable or with a USB-A - microUSB cable.

  • TurboPower 20W (compatible with QC3.0) (5V3A, 10V2A, 12V1.67A) - USB-A - USB-C cable.

  • TurboPower 27W (compatible with QC4.0+ and USB PD) (5V3A, 9V3A, 15V1.8A) - USB-C - USB-C cable.

  • TurboPower 30W (compatible with QC4.0+ and USB PD) (5V3A, 9V3A, 10V3A) - USB-C - USB-C cable.

  • TurboPower 50W (compatible with QC3.0/4.0+ and USB PD) (USB-C 50W: 5V3A, 9V3A, 15V3A, 20V2.5A, USB-A 20W: 5V3A, 9V2A, 12V1.67A) - USB-A - USB-C and USB-C - USB-C cables.

  • TurboPower 68W (compatible with QC4.0+ and USB PD) (5V3A, 9V3A, 15V3A, 20V3.4A, 11V6.2A) - requires a special 6.5A USB-C - USB-C cable with an e-marker.

  • TurboPower 125W (compatible with QC4.0+, USB PD, and PPS) (5V3A, 9V3A, 15V3A, 20V6.25A, 5-20V6.25A) - requires a special 6.5A USB-C - USB-C cable with an e-marker.

Devices that support this protocol:

  • Motorola edge 30 neo supports TurboPower 68W

  • TALIX Zeta 240W PD 3.2 Charger, model MCZT240A2. USB-C1/USB-C2: supports MOTO 125W (5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V3A, 20V6.25A, 5-11V6.25A, 5-20V6.25A)
